Those Dancing Days are a five- piece girl group from Stockholm. In Our Space Hero Suits is a fun, girly blend of pop music with plenty of obvious influences from '60s girl groups, and hints of Northern Soul.
They blend modern and old fashioned to make something completely inoffensive and sweet, if not a bit tongue in cheek. The lead vocals are contemporary and could fit in with any girl band out there, yet they work wonderfully with the zesty animated music.
Stand-out tracks include 'I Know Where You Live', 'Knights In Mountainfox Jackets', and 'Actionman'. They ooze a certain kitsch, avant garde sound that will have the most hardened rocker tapping his or her feet. If you like our very own Limerick based We Should Be Dead's quirky approach to girl pop, then your ears will love you for treating them to this sugary, upbeat piece of earcandy.
